This is a rare, beautifully preserved commemorative plaque titled "A Real Piece of Yankee Stadium". Produced by Collectible Concepts Group, Inc.

(Chalfont, PA), this display is a must-have for any serious New York Yankees Collector or baseball historian. It captures the essence of the original 1923 stadium before its massive mid-70s renovation. Genuine authentic segment of a blue-painted bench from the original Yankees stadium. Mounted on a high-gloss, green marbleized wood plaque, ready for immediate display in a man-cave, office, or gallery. Interesting Tidbit for No Good Reason AKA Did You Know. During the heavy construction, the original copper frieze was carefully removed and placed into storage with the intentions o reinstalling it when the stadium reopened. However, by the time the stadium was ready to install the copper frieze and reopen, they discovered that the ENTIRE massive structure had vanished! Because it was gone, the Yankees had to build the white concrete replica that fans became familiar with seeing from 1976 until the stadium was demolished in 2008. But no one saw nothin?
