New York Stadium Desk Top Box, Reverse Painting On Glass, Yankees, Eglomise

  

Eglomise, (reverse painting on glass) desk top/document box or dresser box with depiction of New York Yankee Stadium filled with fans. Please see all the photos to get a full appreciation of the detail in this hand painted item. The box is 12 3/4 by 7 3/4 by 2 1/2 inches. It was made in approximately 1990 and has never been used. There is a flawless mirror on the inside of the top cover.

I believe the box is walnut, but not positive. It is a lovely, well made box from Concord, Massachusetts where there was an Eglomise workshop. A wonderful gift for a Yankee fan, or for someone from New York. The bottom of the box is felted to protect your furniture.
