Or deliver within 200 miles of Hartford ct. 3 Original Yankee Stadium Unrestored Freestanding Curved Back Seats 1946-73. 15+ World Series were played in front of these seats.

Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Willie Mays played in front of them. They are 3 seats that were always together. Without additional seats attached as both 1 and 3 are end seats. As you can see in the photos the under layer paint described below is clearly sea foam green under the royal blue paint. The numbers have been repainted several times as you can see under the layers of blue paint. The yellow primer under sea foam on the cast iron is visible. The center seat #2 suffers from dry rot in the top wood slat. It is intact and should hold for some time but perhaps a restoration is in order to ensure its stability. I will gladly supply additional photos if needed. These are free standers and very sturdy but you should consider bolting them down to the ground if you plan to sit in them with others. It's very easy to lose ones balance as others stand or sit in unsecured stadium seats. The following information was taken from the ultimate Yankees website.

The Wooden Curved Back Seat - Some of these were floor mounted and some of these were mounted to the concrete behind them. The curved back seats were NOT in use in 1923 when the stadium opened.

The curved back seat was not put into use until 1946! Also, the same seats were used in Atlanta's Fulton County Stadium as well at Baltimore's Memorial Stadium. So the only real way to authenticate a seat is by examining the paint layers on the seat.

Many buyers had no real choice but to repaint the seats. The curved box seats would have pastel blue, sea foam green, yellow primer (used only on the cast iron area of the seat), and royal blue.

The sea foam/mint green paint was used in 1957 before the royal blue paint. The original color of the stadium that was olive/odd green would have been found on the grandstand seats.
