The original wood and screws were in bad shape so they needed to be replaced/restored. These are the real deal. I used to have a box with the old wood and they had the original green color underneath the blue paint. The wood though was totally rotted, but traces of the paint remained. With that said, you'll have to take my work for it or do your own research to confirm the numbers match those from the old Yankee Stadium.

This pair of chairs is restored to the original color. All new wood was cut as the original wood was completely rotted out. The metal was sand blasted and then primed prior to painting. No Yankees logos or seat numbers were added, as you can customized it for you favorite player or numbers. This was a high quality restoration, however the paint did not stick well to the new galvanized screws that were used.

This is not very significant, however needs to be explained. I believe they used lacquer paint. There are some small scratches and nicks but very minor. Own a piece of history.
